Overview
We are seeking a Sr Systems Engineering Specialist in out Orlando, FL location.The selected individual will support our System Requirements and Integration (R&I) engineering team. This person will be responsible for performing systems engineering tasks that establish and manage design requirements, and will verify that product designs meet all operating requirements for fabrication, test, flight, and life cycle disposal environments. To do this, the individual will utilize a combination of commercial and in-house developed software tools, and/or hand calculation methods to compose and flow-down system requirements, correlate analysis models and test results, determine design margins and design life, and prepare technical documentation in support of assigned programs. Will also s upport the execution of government technical interchange meetings (TIMs), progress reviews, and major program milestone meetings.

The generation of documentation to support design analyses
The generation and maintenance of A/B/C level system specifications, interface control documents, hardware specifications, and verification / validation plans

Requirements
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination education and experience.
6+ years of related experience
Experience with program design reviews and trade studies
Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and requirements
Experience with systems engineering requirements and verification methods
Additional Qualifications
Ability to communicate and present clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non technical professionals at all levels
Computer skills to include the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project)
The ability to understand mechanical and electrical aerospace drawings, environmental test requirements, and various aerospace analysis methods
Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS requirements management tools
Prior experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), or prior work experience with missiles, launch vehicles, and/or solid rocket motors
