Summary You will serve as an Office Assistant in the Operations Division for the Fuel Department of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.75% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Responsibilities You will maintain and replenish office supplies and blank forms used by the Fuel Department. You will order supplies and services, and obtain status of orders for requesting individuals upon request. You will compose replies to correspondence and other inquiries, using information from office files and/or contacts with Fuel Department personnel. You will receive and distribute Fuel Department mail based upon subject matter. You will input time and leave data into a data system. You will summarize training completions as training requirements arrive and report completion results to appropriate authority. You will arrange travel for Fuel Department personnel through the Defense Travel System (DTS). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Office Assistant experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Office Assistant work requiring a practical knowledge of office supply, office administration, and personnel support in order to provide management assistance and coordination to facilities management function, property accountability, visitor control, and tracking storage levels of general office supplies. Examples of Specialized Experience include: 1) Maintain and replenish office supplies and blank forms for use by the Fuel Department; 2) Order supplies and services, and obtain status of orders for requesting individuals upon requests; 3) Summarize training completions as training requirements arrive and report completion results to the appropriate authority; 4) Compose replies to correspondence and other inquiries, using information from office files and/or contacts with Fuel Department personnel; 5) Maintain reference material such as Navy regulations, instructions, circulars, and special direct.
