Role: Senior Revenue Analyst - Revenue Operations

What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
We are seeking a candidate who will be self-motivated, have great attention to detail, strong analytical skills with an ability to research and problem solve. Ideally the candidate will also have a proven interest in revenue accounting, reporting and systems.
Primary roles will be understanding revenue accounting positions, reviews and investigations relating to system entries in accordance with company policies, revenue reporting via various tools, revenue accruals and participating in system testing for enhancements and automation.
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
Complete onboarding trainings to familiarize yourself with the business and operations of our team
Assume ownership of the revenue systems for day to day activities along with period end close activities
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Lead period end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, BS and PL flux analyses, and presentations to management
Review multiple element arrangements to ensure system performed relative allocation carve outs are proper, investigate anomalies (i.e. deal structure, elements, pricing) and action edits in system as necessary
Prepare unbilled SaaS revenue analyses and corresponding accruals
Own intercompany accounting analysis and corresponding financial entries and SEC reporting
Assist with review of various reporting and disclosure requirements for 10Q and 10K filings
Field questions from Revenue Forecasting Team related to system & manual entries, primarily during quarter end
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical accounting and product management team on new offerings and M&A activities impacting revenue accounting automation
Maintain system data by reviewing various revenue impact analyses (i.e. List Price review, imbalance schedule reviews, related party attributes, etc)
Subject matter expert for revenue reporting tool (SAP BI) used by global revenue team to assist with reporting needs
Review the work of RevStream Checklist Preparer's timely to meet SOX deadlines
Lead in RevStream 5x system testing related to change requests, enhancements and M&A activities
Work closely with IT and BTA team to resolve system related matters
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
The Senior Revenue Analyst position reports to the Senior Revenue Manager located in California. Also, the candidate will have the opportunity to virtually work with our Revenue Operations Team members in other locations, including Costa Rica, Ireland, and India. The role will give you an opportunity to lead various tasks as well as review checklists and analyses prepared by junior staff.
