Overview

Audacy is seeking an organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to join our Promotions + Experiences team in promotions, contesting and prize fulfillment in the NorCal Region (San Francisco and Sacramento), including but not limited to the following formats: Sports, Alternative, Top 40, Hot AC, News/Talk, Rock, Classic Rock, and more.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Assists with contest creation from concept to implementation, execution and closing

  • Creates and sends email blasts and other communications to listeners and partners

  • Enters contest, winner(s) and prize information into PromoSuite and administers winner paperwork

  • Works closely with Brand Managers and Promotions Directors to ensure stations positioning/branding is reflected in all marketing, imaging, promotions & digital media

  • Attends station events, as needed, to oversee and assist with set-up and visibility

  • Assists Regional Contest Director with requests for proposals i.e. concerts and events for on air, online or onsite prizing

  • Works directly with sales department to acquire all elements needed for sales promotions i.e. copy, prizes, all complete event information, etc.

  • Assists with promotional recaps

  • Assists with coordinating cluster and station master calendars for all promotions, events, contests, etc., in conjunction with Regional Contesting Director.

  • Brainstorm with programming and sales departments for client and station event presentations and promotional concepts

  • Assist with Station Brand Development in conjunction with specific Brand Managers and SVP/GM

  • A strategic partner with programming management and the sales department in the creation and ideation of marketing, promotion and sales opportunities for client concepts and station branding/positioning

  • Proficient in asset management software and sponsorship valuation tools (ex: Zudy Vinyl) and promotion management software (PromoSuite, Aptivada, etc..), and more

  • Attend sales meetings, client meetings, station meetings as needed

  • General Marketing and Promotions activity and special projects as needed

Skills/Attributes

  • First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position

  • Experience working in Urban and Sports formats preferred

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task

  • Strong computer skills with experience of the Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Experience using Google Workspaces is a plus, but not required

  • General knowledge of social networking platforms

  • Knowledge of promotion software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting), Aptivada (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and PromoSuite (promotion management software)

  • Occasional night or weekend work

Qualifications:

  • Two years' experience executing marketing and promotions campaigns

  • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and if applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance is required. A 4-year degree in marketing preferred.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs and/or ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Valid state driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
