THE ROLE : The Cycle Counter will be responsible for overseeing the daily cycle counts and analyzing the results as directed by Warehouse Supervisor and Stockroom Foreperson, and conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports documenting inventory problems, and conduct meeting to review findings and propose solutions. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Oversees the cycle count team and provides daily task work instruction. -Ensures cycle counts are completed as required by TTO's cycle count classifications and count plan. -Files cycle counts and maintains all necessary signatures. -Communicates and coordinates inventory discrepancies throughout facility as part of investigation. -Conducts thorough analysis of inventory errors and prepares written reports with findings and corrective actions. -Reviews results and reports with management to obtain approval for inventory adjustments. -Updates ERP system with results of cycle counts and changes classifications as appropriate. -Keeps track of all inventory shortages in STP and Assembly, and updates the production tracker with the shortage information. Responsible for finding, allocating, and delivering necessary inventory to the area with the shortage. -Maintain inventory records in ERP. -Support and comply with all safety and 5S requirements related to the position. -Assists stock room in performing daily responsibilities when needed. -Perform other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 3 or more years of production and inventory control experience. -Must be competent in material handling using forklifts and cranes. -Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communications and teamwork skills. -Detail oriented with strong analytical and computer skills. -Ability to perform successfully in the stockroom (internal and external stocking areas) and shipping and receiving. -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

DAY IN THE LIFE :

In this role, the working environment is average shop conditions subject to noisy environments and working around electrical equipment. The physical demands may include but not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending, lifting up to 35 pounds, and wearing of PPE.
