The purpose of this second shift position is to work as a team player to keep manufacturing equipment functioning properly at all times. The goal is to have minimal unscheduled downtime. This is a skilled position requiring mechanical aptitude and good reasoning abilities. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform all required preventative maintenance work on assigned equipment. * Accomplish assigned tasks in the safest, most effective and efficient manner possible. * Troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment related maintenance issues to ensure that our production processes are running within the predetermined control parameters. * Work from blueprints, schematic drawings, verbal instructions, handbooks and manuals as necessary to perform maintenance on equipment.
