The DrivenFleet team represents the Driven portfolio of brands to large, national vehicle fleet accounts, & has done so successfully for nearly 10 years in both the US & Canada. This wholesale B2B business unit is an essential component of Driven Brands' successful business model. As Driven Brands has continued to add new brands & service segments, the opportunity & impact of DrivenFleet has grown significantly. From carwashes to car crashes, & every service-need in-between, DrivenBrands is the only organization in North America that can handle virtually all maintenance, service, & repair needs of fleet operators, company vehicle drivers, & fleet management companies.
DrivenFleet is now expanding its target audience to include local fleets in & surrounding Nashville TN. This includes virtually all company-owned light to medium duty passenger cars or trucks. Non-national fleet operators include small businesses, municipalities, regional fleet operators, buying groups, & more.
The Local Fleet Sales Director role has the potential for substantial growth. Initially this role will have P&L responsibility for standing up & operating our first local fleet market in the Nashville TN metropolitan area. In the future, this role will oversee a nationwide footprint of local fleet teams operating in every major metro area. Reporting directly to the VP of Strategy, Platform Services, this role will include but not be limited to:
Work with internal resources to stand-up (or modify existing) phone & CRM systems to accommodate the needs of expanding into the local fleet space
Work with brand leadership teams on their individual brands' best practices for local fleet business
Influence & develop a draft training/playbook that will guide sales personnel & be continuously improved upon as you & your team learn through experience as well as trial & error
Collaborate with marketing and brand leadership to produce marketing content, strategy, & tactics followed by execution
Based on provided goals develop a business plan suitable to meet sales and P&L expectations
Recruit, hire, & manage a team of 3-5 sales & sales-support personnel (both field & inside sales/service positions)
During initial phases of the program, regularly travel to/within the Nashville TN area both to directly contribute to, as well as coach & collaborate with direct reports in their roles (travel will initially be weekly, but with success, will likely be reduced to an average of <=25% within 6-18 months)
Work directly &/or indirectly with franchisees, managers, &/or staff at local centers to optimize their contributions & impact on the success of the program
Work directly with analytics & business insights teams to establish KPIs & produce effective reporting
Prepare periodic executive-facing presentations & progress reports
Assuming initial market success, produce a proposal for scaling the Local Fleet Program to other metros, regions, & nationally
