This is a 1st shift position with immediate availability to start.Sorter responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assist the warehouse with taking in donations and sort through donations of clothes and other items- Run machine and sort through clothes to be boxed up; may help with trash on occasion- Sort through containers of clothes, household items, and other misc. items- Categorize containers of clothes, household items, and other misc. items- Sort by expiration date and proper value, ensure product is new, retail condition- Support additional team efforts when necessary- Place full bins in their designated locations with locations with proper tags- Communicate with forklift operator when necessary, usually multiple times per day- Maintain clean and safe work area- Change out, replace, and replenish bins when full, using a pallet jackSorter requirements:- Warehouse experience is a plus- Stand for a full shift- Lift up to 40lbs and a team lift above that weight if an object is needed to be moved- Work in a noisy environment- Repetitive hand/eye work- Work around dust- Able to do simple math (adding and subtracting), read English to read tags for items
