_SUMMARY:_ The Facilities Assistant is the equipment and facilities individual responsible for corporate campus facility requirements. _OBJECTIVES:_ * Be a part of a team to provide world class facilities and maintenance support for a complex, build-to-order manufacturing plant and a corporate campus. _DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:_ * Ensures buildings and equipment are properly cleaned and in good working condition, makes minor repairs as needed. * Responds to routine and emergency calls for service * Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools. * Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets as well as unclogging of drains, etc.). * Landscaping & snow plowing * Performs minor painting, carpentry, laminate, vinyl and tile repair. * Installs and repairs miscellaneous accessories and equipment. * Other duties as assigned _EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:_ * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Basic Computer skills * The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects. * Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. * Forklift experience a plus. #AM-CentralPlant All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
