What We're Looking For
The time is right to join HNTB's growing Design Build (DB) Organization! We are seeking candidates for a Scheduler III, with demonstrated experience on fast-paced transportation infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Director of Project Operations, this individual will work closely with project management teams to develop and maintain critical path schedules for complex Design Build final design projects. Lead all schedule reporting and analysis activities. Review procurement documents and coordinate with client's project controls team to identify and ensure compliance with all schedule requirements and constraints. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior scheduling staff as required.
Primary Focus Will Include:
The development and maintenance of large / complex critical path schedules.
Lead all schedule reporting activities.
Provide mentorship to junior scheduling staff and project technical staff on scheduling and reporting functionality.
Ensure compliance with contract and client schedule / project controls requirements.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of final design engineering & the Design Build market.
Proven experience in both the development and analysis of critical path schedules.
Experience using both Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Good communicator: ability to translate complex scheduling theory to technical and junior scheduling staff.

What You'll Need
Essential Responsibilities:
Independently develops new project schedules for moderately complex projects using scheduling software. Maintains project schedule including progress updates. Revises forecasts and evaluates impact of delay. Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to members of project management team.
Performs schedule risk analysis, including quantitative risk analysis.Performs schedule analysis to include critical activities, risk areas, key milestones and significant changes to schedule. Develops -what if- scenarios to explore alternate sequencing in order to mitigate or avoid schedule delays.
Performs claims related analysis using contractor claims, delay cost estimates, time impacts, etc.
Prepares reporting from schedules including EVA analysis, integration of cost and schedule.
Performs contemporaneous schedule analysis.
Performs detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates.
Researches project documentation relating to claim data, including project correspondence and inspection diaries.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business
4 years related experience
In lieu of education, 8 years project controls experience
