The Receptionist will conduct him or herself in a friendly manner, demonstrating the ability to maintain flexibility and patience in a fast-paced, multi-service agency. The Receptionist will exhibit the ability to deliver economic and culturally sensitive services to people of diverse backgrounds.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties will include but not be limited to:Commitment to Mission, Vision, and Values of CCCS as a subsidiary of Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri.Commitment to follow Catholic social teaching in all aspects of the duties of this position.Receptionist duties including, answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and filing, copying, faxing and scanning. Record detailed phone messages.Provide Quality Control review of all client files.Strict adherence to rules of confidentiality.Assist agency staff to provide client services from a variety of programs.Maintenance of client requests and other tracking needs.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Minimum QualificationsEducation, Licensure and CertificationsThe Receptionist must be a high school graduate or equivalent.ExperiencePreferred experience in receptionist/clerical skills, office environment.Skills, Knowledge, and QualificationsMust have experience and a willingness to work in a fast-paced social service, faith based environment.Ability to work with people of economically and culturally diverse backgrounds.Strong customer/client etiquette.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone and email communication.Knowledgeable in basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Must be able to read and comprehend agency and office policies and procedures.
