Are you a sports fanatic with expertise in audio production? Audacy is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Production Manager to build out and manage a team of producers for the 2400Sports Podcast Network.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes sports, and knows how to identify and leverage trending news to grow an audience. You can delegate effectively and supervise a team of producers and editors. You understand the ever-changing podcasting landscape and can create an adaptable strategy that evolves with it. You thrive in a fast-paced, communication-driven team environment, and are passionate about innovating in the podcast content space. You are on top of all of the latest sports news, and are constantly looking for engaging local and national content.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Responsible for managing the production needs of Audacy's sports podcast studio, 2400Sports
Source and manage a staff of producers across the 2400Sports podcast network
Develop and disseminate a comprehensive podcast production strategy
Oversee distribution of equipment to talent and producers and schedule studio time as necessary
Assist with microphone setup and audio checks when needed
Manage production schedules, including preparation of backfill options, update deliverable deadlines, as needed, and run weekly production meetings
Ensure all podcast production runs smoothly and is optimized for quality
Manage the podcast approval process, from ideation to launch
Work closely with the 2400Sports Imaging Director to ensure all creative requests are properly executed and implemented
Coordinate the distribution of the best material from each show to the audio, video and editorial teams
Lead the sharing of information across pre and post show reports for all podcasts
Ensure the proper execution of feed drops throughout the Audacy podcast ecosystem
Project manage marketing efforts for select campaigns
Collaborate with the operations manager to ensure audience and revenue targets are being met
Manage file clean-up, coordinate equipment shipments and publish episodes
Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience
5+ years of total work experience in managerial roles in sports media
Proficient in Adobe Audition or similar audio editing platforms
Proficient in Megaphone, Omny or interchangeable podcast publishing platforms
Understanding of the podcasting and sports radio landscape
Experience with talent, editorial and production management
Highly adept and proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or other similar applications
Superb organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
Ability to efficiently work independently, while having a knack for leading a collaborative process
Capacity to multitask
