Overview
The Fan Upstate-97.7FM/97.1FM(WORD/WYRD AM) Greenville-Spartanburg is seeking a full-time PM Drive host. If you know sports and are a great storyteller with an engaging personality, we may have the perfect job for you. You will create and deliver a daily, fast-paced, entertaining sports talk show, focusing heavily on comprehensive coverage of the major South Carolina area sports brands and the development of hot topics of local and national scope. To succeed, you must understand that radio is a two-way, cross-platform digital experience. You'll also assist in coordinating daily programming duties as assigned by the Brand Manager.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
Communicate daily with the producer and brand manager to meet program goals
Perform broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence and interact with the audience on-air and via social media daily
Maintain solid contacts and relationships with local sports brands and the business community
Prepare and research for broadcasts
Protect the station's FCC license
Monitor the music and commercial logs for the air-shift
Review audio and edit actualities for air
Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
Operate the control board and perform production work
Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
Other duties as required by management
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills.
Must have solid production skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment.
Necessary for on-air and production execution.
Knowledge of the format and audience is required.
Knowledge of FCC guidelines.
Connections and familiarity with the local/area sports landscape.

A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
