Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
The Accounting Clerk may specialize in a variety of different accounting areas related to payroll, invoicing, and payment processing. Accounts Payable duties will focus on the processing of invoices and the payment of company expenses. Payroll responsibilities include the input and review of employee timesheets, expense reimbursements, and payroll submission through a third-party payroll service. Accounts Receivable duties include issuance and distribution of client invoices. Other accounting duties and administrative or ad hoc projects as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Route vendor invoices through AP automation tool, process, code, and submit to Sage AP.
- Process various AP payments at month end including manual checks, ACH, and wires.
- Contact vendors for information or copies of invoices when necessary.
- Upload employee timesheets into ADP Workforce for payroll processing. Input expense reports and additional compensation.
- Review purchase card transactions and other expenditures for accuracy and properly code into Sage AP.
- May be responsible for miscellaneous administrative office and other ad hoc duties.
