Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst for Business and Financial Operations Branch (SUP114) CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. The Business and Financial Operations Branch is responsible for managing the Funding Document Management (FDM) Program and Contractor Vendor Pay (Entitlements) for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will perform various duties and responsibilities of a Financial Management Analyst including contractor vendor pay, financial customer service, funding documents, and entitlement processing. You will perform work consisting of selecting and using many different and unrelated analytical techniques and methods relative to substantive agency programs with widely varying goals. You will develop presentations concerning entitlements, funding documents, branch metrics, and substantive programs. You will anticipate and meet the needs of both internal and external customers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing Financial Management Analyst work at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying financial management laws, regulations, principles, concepts and practices to perform the following: 1) Assisting with the design, implementation and/or assessment of internal control processes and procedures to solve a variety of accounting problems including auditing and audit remediation in a timely manner; 2) Analyzing audit findings and assisting in generating/coordinating corrective action plans to document necessary process changes; and 3) Reviewing existing business process documentation to assist in researching and investigating new or improved business and financial management practices.
