This position will provide support and guidance to the business and our customers in the review of contract documents, bids and proposals. This role is responsible for the review and revision of contract documents as well as negotiating with customers to align with standard Evoqua terms (when possible). This role performs routine contract management duties with the goal of bringing a successful resolution to contractual negotiations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Leverage existing templates and established workflows to prepare routine responses, correspondence, and contract documentation in response to requests for proposals and solicitations.
Serve as direct support to the business throughout the standard opportunity lifecycle including proposal development, pricing strategies, bid management, contract negotiation, execution, and modification.
Ensure compliance with standard Evoqua risk tolerances. Leverage defined alternatives as needed.
Partner with the business to understand the business case behind bid and proposal and counsel on customer messaging strategy.
Identify potential risks and partner with senior team members to review and revise commercial proposals to ensure alignment with business strategy.
Advise business on potential risks of accepting customer terms and necessary approvals per internal management review policy.
Leverage Contract Lifecycle Management System to prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files.
Document contract performance and compliance. May conduct research to support contract audit and/or facilitate business unit contracting trends.
Partner with senior team members on more complex matters.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of contract-related experience or a recent Juris Doctorate recipient
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Basic to working knowledge of contracting concepts and Uniform Commercial Code.
Negotiation and general procurement knowledge and experience is required.
Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Publisher, and SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, adapt and be flexible to adjust to changing demands, timelines, and deliverables.
Strong analytical, influencing, and communication skills. Ability to draft simple contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines.

$62,000.00 - $99,000.00
