WSP is currently initiating a search for a Navy Program Manager for our Washington DC office. The following locations will also be considered: S an Diego, CA, Houston, TX, Seattle, WA, Honolulu, HI and Virgina Beach, VA . Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

This Program Manager will focus on growing the Federal teams Navy Program, delivering our service capabilites to include engineering, architecture, planning, environmental engineering and program management. The Navy Program Manager will focus on enhancing and strengting relationships with Navy Far East, Hawaii, Marianas, Northwest and Southwest to drive new business opportunities. The position will work with district leaders across all sectors, as well as with regional and national leadership, to position WSP as the preferred and trusted choice for clients and employees.

Your Impact

  • Leverage FP's and WSP USA's technical experience to enhance current and new service offerings.

  • Advance the strategic growth direction of the Navy program and position for sustained and continued growth.

  • Manages client coordination and cross-selling efforts across all business lines in coordination with Region, District, National Business Lines, Marketing Excellence Center and Pursuit Management

  • Generate leads, assess new markets, and develop new business opportunities for Navy projects/programs.

  • Participate in federal business growth strategy development and execution

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Fifteen plus years' experience in consulting, engineering, program management and or business development to the federal government (DOD)

  • Five plus years' experience working with Navy operations

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong knowledge and overall understanding of U.S Navy clients; US contracting industry; knowledge of Federal budgeting, industry business drivers and motivators

  • Experience leading strategy and marketing for Federal acquisitions; demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders, and in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results

  • Understanding of financial metrics including EBIT, Earned and New Business revenue, overhead costs, profit & loss, and project financials

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of servicing client needs and effective program planning and execution

  • Demonstrated track record of managing large and complex opportunities and pursuits

  • Strong business development skills with attention to win strategies and differentiators

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to communicate and under limited time constraints

  • DOD Security Clearance (preferred)

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
