Caterpillar Foundry located in Mapleton, Illinois has an opportunity for a manufacturing engineering high school internship. As a manufacturing engineering high school intern at Caterpillar, you will assist manufacturing engineering to run process improvement and quality projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities will be assigned according to your qualifications and may include, but are not limited to:
Process control data and trend analysis
Tooling design for continuous improvement projects
Standard work audits and improvements
Assisting engineering team projects focused on safety, quality and/or productivity improvements
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a cumulative 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale as reflected on official transcript.
Must be 16 years of age at the time of application.
A full-time student enrolled as a junior or senior for the 2021-2022 academic school year.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Hours for this position are 7:00a - 3:00p
