This position provides financial support and oversight to Drivetrain's Product Group within the Large Power Systems Division (LPSD). The role is responsible for providing business insights associated with Research & Engineering and Material spend through monthly reporting, forecasting and analysis. This position will require a robust skillset in financial analytics, collaboration of cross-functional teams, problem solving skills, communication and a customer-oriented mindset. Successful candidates will be able to quickly understand the business, processes and customer needs, while identifying and implementing process improvements to existing tools/processes to better serve our customers. Experience in Axiom and PowerBI is strongly desired for this position.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management

  • Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards

  • Create reports on financial performance for internal and external use

  • Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results

  • Identify continuous improvement ideas

What You Have:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 6+ years of accounting experience

  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

  • The primary location for this position is East Peoria, IL

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
