REMOTE AR Medical Biller
Must reside within the Eastern Standard Time | 6-Month Contract

A Day in the Role:
Submit medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare and Medicaid
Responsible for the timely submission of technical or professional medical claims to insurance companies
Obtain referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures, and check eligibility and benefit verification
Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtain any missing information
Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing

Core Experience:
1-3 years of Medical Billing Experience (Claims, Denials, Rejections, Insurance Follow-Ups, etc.)
Revenue Cycle Management/Accounts Receivable Experience
Knowledge of HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer/systems
Microsoft Office Suite Experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must have reliable internet
Minimum of High School Diploma (A.A. or B.A. preferred)
Must reside on the EAST COAST
