General Summary:

The primary focus of the HRSS Sr. Analyst is to provide continuous functional and technical leadership in the development, implementation, support and coordination of a variety of human resources software. Drives continuous improvement of HR systems and automation programs for designated function(s). This role builds a dedicated partnership with internal/external customers and acts as a point of contact for them.

Duties & Responsibilites:

Analysis- Design- Planning

  • Defines project scope, approach needed and types of resources required.

  • Participates in short and long-term planning sessions with the business to improve processes.

  • Analyze systems and presents proposals for modifications in systems to foster continuous improvement and focus on business results.

  • Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope.

  • Develop solutions in house and encourages best practices with existing technology platforms.

  • Actively identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more efficient.

  • Assists IT Product Owner and team write high quality user stories explaining business problems and product concepts in a concise manner.

  • Ensure programs are integrated with other internal and external systems.

  • Serves as Project Manager for HR operational projects with high scope and large complex identifying risks and analyzing options.

  • Support projects utilizing SDLC/Agile methodology.

Technical

  • Leads the translation of business requirements into technical requirements.

  • Facilitates issue resolution with the technical team and/or vendor technical partners.

  • Analyzes testing to ensure solutions are met based on the business requirements.

  • Work with various business areas on technology projects as needed to identify gaps and issues.

  • Collaborates with Cross Functional Groups in its use of technology to drive business results and serves as the liaison between the business and IT in meetings and business case development.

  • Provides system support for HR applications and systems including data integrity, applicant tracking, onboarding, etc.

  • Designs, configures, tests, implements, documents and maintains automated solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes resulting in significant savings.

  • Approves testing and implementation plans to ensure that desired business results are achieved

Functional

  • Help business users translate enhancement requirements into technical terms for the IT team.

  • Partners with functional owners and IT on all upgrades, enhancements and implementations to ensure configuration, testing and documentation are completed and signed-off.

  • Works with business functions and IT to implement new functionality for HR systems.

  • Work seamlessly with functional business owners across multiple departments, and capable of managing cross-functional initiatives to identify, evaluate and implement effective solutions.

  • Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and subject matter expert around ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

  • Tests and troubleshoots functional issues as they arise in the normal course of business and implements changes necessary to achieve successful resolution of functional issues.

  • Writing/designing data integrity auditing.

  • Advanced Query and report writing for HR Users for Process Improvement.

  • Ongoing HR System Configurations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of multiple HR areas and systems, including but not limited to applicant tracking, onboarding, performance management, HRIS system, Benefits, Compensation and Payroll practices

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; meticulous attention to detail; able to manage self and projects

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous process improvement; able to take initiative and learn on the fly

  • Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Business requirements knowledge with the focus on analyzing multiple data sources and document data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies

  • Team player who shares problem-solving responsibilities with the team and offers creative responses to new challenges

Work Experience &/or Education:

4 year college degree in HR, Business, or IT required or equivalent - 2-4 years' experience working with HR Technology in an analyst role - High Level understanding of HR business processes - Preferred Requirements - Previous experience with HR administration in an IT or functional role - Experience writing functional/technical documentation - Attention to detail to ensure high quality deliverables - Understanding of Project Management skills - Strong SQL skills - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users -
