Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides pharmacy services, to include: inpatient drug distribution, IV admixture, drug information, pharmacokinetics, drug therapy monitoring, patient education, and controlled substance regulation. Responsible for providing direct supervision of supportive personnel within the Department of Pharmacy. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and staff satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on the Mission and Values of ProMedica.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy License: Licensed within the state(s) of practice

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Pharm.D. degree and residency training Skills: Prefer experience in hospital pharmacy services including unit dose, IV admixtures, and pharmacokinetic dosing. Certification: BLS - Basic Life Support

WORKING CONDITIONS

Personal Protective Equipment: Physical Demands: Must be able to lift light materials. Non-material handling of continuous sitting and reaching; frequent standing; occasional squatting, kneeling, walking, and stairs. Must be able to move about and between workstations.
