Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Foreign Military Sales Aviation Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will coordinate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to support the activities of equipment and systems throughout the life-cycle. You will coordinate weapon system integrated logistics processes and procedures to ensure timely logistics support. You will evaluate integrated logistical support (ILS) programs to determine compliance with strategic plans. You will analyze technical data systems to identify the effectiveness of logistics support operations. You will use a database to reference history, analyze quotes, or provide scope definition forms for new work requests. You will brief management and sponsors on status of systems logistics related information. You will use databases to track failure trends of configured items. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Preparing, maintaining, and serving as the final authority for the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), which includes analyzing total supply support costs, developing alternative logistics operational and support concepts, and evaluating Integrated Product Support (IPS) resource performance for assigned programs; Analyzing post-production support and maintainability requirements including Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Reserve, provisions for IPS changes and replenishments, and feedback on IPS adequacy during operations; Developing plans and resource requirements for programs, and, determines and prepares IPS contractual plans and documents; Establishing and ensuring maintenance of a programs IPS management information reporting systems and tracking files sufficient to provide information required to brief Program Management Activity, and logistics managers, department heads, and foreign representatives on the current ILS spares status of assigned systems and equipment.
