Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Deltar Fasteners will report to the Senior Human Resource Generalist - Deltar Fasteners and is responsible for the full life cycle of our ITW Deltar Fasteners hiring process; The full life cycle of the hiring process includes, but is not limited to, posting of positions, identifying, and attracting qualified and diverse candidates, interviewing and selection, pre-employment processes, building our employer value proposition and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and staffing guidelines.
Annual Salary: $50,000 Primary Responsibilities:
Proactively research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting, and develop a pool of qualified candidates, in advance of need, by building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates
Source and recruit candidates for current and future requisitions via various methods, including but not limited to: social media, professional networking associations and events, industry contacts, job boards, job fairs, employee/manager referrals, alumni/former employees
Monitor brand reputation on social media boards and collaborate with Marketing to address areas of opportunity, employment campaigns, etc.
Support local events to drive our employment brand and culture in the community
Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent for a multi-site organization
Review resumes evaluate candidates' qualifications and conduct initial phone screens. Inform candidates of the job responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule and career advancement opportunities. Present pre-qualified candidates for consideration, follow-up in a timely manner with Hiring Managers and candidates
Coordinate and conduct phone, virtual and in-person interviews
Coordinate pre-employment items and new hire orientations
Maintain an on-going relationship & communication with HR & Management to provide continuous feedback.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (preferred) and a minimum of 1 years of recruiting experience. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree
Comfortable using a variety of social media platforms and able to work with several digital footprints; Linked In and other assigned tools
Ability to develop a strategic staffing plan to accelerate high growth
Ability to travel as needed for recruitment initiatives and events (25%)
Strong experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Ability to gather and analyze data and statistics and present findings
Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
Outstanding organizational skills, close attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Can work independently with a strong ability to collaborate with a can-do, positive attitude
Flexibility to deal with changing priorities and balancing multiple priorities and employee needs
The ability to remain calm under pressure and comfortable working with minimal direction
Independent and organized work style. Effectively manage time and prioritize workload, assume and manage multiple tasks without close supervision, adapt to change and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to make independent decisions and regularly suggest ways to improve processes and services
Ensure OFCCP and FLSA compliance by following recruitment processes, rules, and regulations to include proper documentation and dispositioning of candidates; maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates
