Scope :

Vulcan, recognized by chefs and operators around the world as the best-in-class supplier for premier, energy-efficient foodservice equipment, is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analsyt to join our team.

This position is responsible for understanding all Vulcan FEG product lines, their uses, applications, and pricing. This is the primary contact for territory reps, as well as customers, key dealers, and other influences of product purchase decisions. Telephone and email diplomacy are critical to success in the function.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Assists in the analysis, investigation and research supporting the needs of organization's financial planning and customer requirements for the Vulcan Food Equipment sales functions. Requires product knowledge and substantial independent judgement.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Commissions:

  • Prepare monthly Commission accrual

  • File, track, & pay Project Spec Credits

  • Update Spec Path system

  • Handle adjustments to origination, specification, or destination territories for corrections and demos

  • Prepare and upload manual calculations for USF and Clark warehouse shipments

  • Process commission payment upload sheet for AP entry

  • Handle commission inquiries

  • Update destination info, correct orders with incorrect end user zip.

Spiff Program:

  • Maintain file of all Spiff programs and appropriate approvals

  • Establish & maintain spiff campaigns on sales portal

  • Establish & maintain eligible payees on sales portal

  • Create/update Spiff forms as needed.

  • Receive, review, and process forms for payment

  • Field all inquiries pertaining to payments

  • Prepare various spiff reports

  • Create and maintain supplier accounts in Epicor

Epicor Customer Database:

  • Complete new customer set-ups after the dealer is created and approved by Credit

  • Maintain all Roll-up data - buying groups, market segments, and concept codes

  • Create new sold to accounts for all branches of dealers

  • Create new special sold-to customers for Chain sales

Epicor Sales Territories and Rep Data:

  • Establish & Maintain sales territory and rep data in Epicor

Annual price increase:

  • Coordinate annual price increase with business units

  • Update all Epicor price lists with increase

  • Handle all pricing issues for price holds

Special Dealer/Chain Pricing:

  • Create and maintain Customer Sales Categories/Dealer Customer Groups/Chain

Customer Groups in Epicor

  • Maintain file with quotes and special pricing

  • Create & maintain codes and descriptions for all above in Epicor

  • Establish & maintain price lists for all in Epicor

Prepare Platinum & Preferred price sheets:

  • Coordinate with business units and sales management new line-up, pricing, and sheet layout.

  • Load all variations of platinum pricing in Epicor

  • Prepare dealer/buying group specific platinum sheets

Other Duties:

  • Provide financial analysis support and ad hoc reporting to sales management, reps, business unit manages, etc. for data not available in Reporting Services

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to plan and coordinate projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross- functional team

  • Excellent follow-up skills and attention to detail

  • They should also be detail oriented and possess strong mathematical, verbal, and written skills.
