Job Description:
The Lead, Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for direct production of the task(s) or project(s) assigned including obtaining materials, evaluating existing conditions, determining tool and manning requirements, generating condition found reports, providing growth work man-hour estimates, determining growth work material requirements, and assigning tasks to electrical and electronic production employees.
Essential Functions:
Maintain budgetary requirements for each task or project assigned and to project and communicate issues with meeting task or project monetary goals.
Multi-task across several trade categories, projects, and contracts.
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of shipboard electrical or electronic installation or repair experience
Have a strong working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items and Mil-DOD-2003.
Reading, analyzing, interpreting, and red-lining installation drawings, technical manuals, and work specifications.
Connector assembly and cable test.
Use of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
Willing and able to travel up to 30%. (Domestic)
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Requires advanced job knowledge and skills typically obtained through a combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent with ten (10) years of prior Electrical experience to include five (5) years with electrical, structural, or mechanical Navy shipboard repair, modernization, and maintenance projects.
2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with six (6) years of prior Electrical experience to include five (5) years experience with electrical, structural, or mechanical Navy shipboard repair, modernization, and maintenance projects.
Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with Deltek and CostPoint finance systems.
