Summary You will serve as a Management Assistant in the Supply Management Department within the Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville FL (FLCJ) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. Responsibilities You will be responsible for performing fact finding and analysis of manpower requirements and maintaining statistical data in support of all administrative functions of the Supply Management Department (SMD) and/or installation Supply Department. You will research, coordinate, and prepare reports as necessary relating to the department's organizational charts, telecommunications/recall roster updates, and other similar type rosters. You will be responsible for tracking the SMD or Site's Plant Property/Minor Property to ensure that the Defense Property Assets Control System (DPAS) matches the actual inventory at the SMD or Site. You will compile data received or obtain information from other sources to answer any data calls or Requests for Information (RFIs). You will bring potential problem areas to the attention of the SMD and/or Deputy Site Director/Supply Officer. You will assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, Power Point presentations for submittal to the SMD Deputy Director and/or Deputy Site Director/Supply Officer. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Managing, allocating, and monitoring financial resources in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies; 2) preparing and submitting manpower reports and data calls and providing recommendations to management in identifying and developing improvements to manpower processes and work methods; 3) analyzing data for correctness and trends; 4) monitoring and executing the operating budget to assure that funds are properly received, allocated, obligated, and disbursed.
