VMware is looking for a Sr. Industry Marketing Manager with a passion for integrated campaign strategy that increases account engagement and accelerates sales in Federal enterprise accounts. In this role, you'll join the team that supports missions for critical front-line industries in all Federal segments of Defense, Intelligence and Civilian Agencies. Success is tied to three objectives:

  • Building a collaborative and trusting relationship with Federal sales leadership.

  • Driving executive and account engagement that influences and accelerates pipeline of SaaS Solutions.

  • Helping to shift perception of VMware as Multicloud leader in Federal IT.

To reach these objectives, you'll need to be an experienced in the design and execution of multi-channel campaigns that surround (digitally and in-person) critical public sector personas making decisions on large transformation purchases. Reporting to the Director of Americas Public Sector and Healthcare Marketing, you'll be joining a diverse team of collaborative and data-driven industry marketers. They are passionate about the industries they support, enjoy problem-solving and working across the cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and modify horizontal demand generation programs for ABM (1:few and scale).

  • Drive executive engagements for top Federal accounts aligned with top account list.

  • Track and share results with sales regularly that use data-driven insights to implement improvements.

  • Design and execute Federal industry event big bets, including leading annual flagship government event.

  • In collaboration with our content lead, develop civilian, defense-specific demand journeys that drive engagement at each stage of the B2G buyer's journey.

  • Acting as the Industry marketing expert to help product marketing launch FedRAMP products into market.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise marketing experience in high-tech/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments

  • A minimum of 4 years of Federal marketing experience required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of leveraging modern marketing principles into to public sector accounts including: account based marketing (ABM), marketing automation/nurture programs, intent-based programmatic marketing and the integration of online and offline tactics (events).

  • Ability to influence across functions, be a team player and thrive in a matrixed environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and flawless execution.

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business or equivalent
