Job Description:
The Senior Supervisor, P-8A Aircraft is responsible for managing the strategic execution of operations associated with the offsite detachment. The Senior Aircraft Supervisor will be responsible for the maintenance team operations and safe release of customer aircraft.
Essential Functions:
Ensures team follows safety and compliance policies and procedures
Constant coordination with support and management teams
Daily team maintenance meeting
Reading and interpreting drawings and aircraft manuals
Responsible for performance to budget and schedule
Perform manpower planning
Perform team member evaluations
Lead the continuous improvement strategy for the modification team
Plans and establishes goals and objectives for team
Plans and executes aircraft maintenance strategies
Communicates within and outside of local team needs and expectations
Oversees and ensures compliance to government regulations, policies, and procedures
Conduct flight release on aircraft as required
Ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed
Ability to travel up to 25%
Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Experience with NALCOMIS Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) and Advanced System Management (ASM) systems
P-8A Safe for Flight (SFF) qualified
Knowledge of Naval maintenance practices
Preferred Additonal Skills:
Active Top Secret security clearance
Lean Six-Sigma previous experience and/or Greenbelt
Experience with compliance to NAVAIRIST 3710.1G, DCMA INST 8210, and/or CNAFINST 4790Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint
Demonstrated leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate creative problem-solving capabilities
Ability to move up to 50 pounds
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $70,500 - $131,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
