As Maintenance Team Lead , your role will be to provide leadership to the facility maintenance and tool crib teams and to facilitate continuous improvement to reach team goals and ensure customer satisfaction. You will bring your maintenance experience and expertise to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance work with the team within the facility. You will also bring experience in maintaining and repairing CNC equipment and machining centers across an array of manufacturers. Responsible for preventative and daily maintenance of production burn tables, press brake, and numerous state-of-the-art CNC machining centers to include Mazak, Giddings & Lewis (G&L), Haas, and Okuma. Ability to coordinate with production teams to accomplish work performed by internal and external sources.
Ability to trouble shoot equipment with or without schematics or parts lists.
Strong verbal/written communication, analytical, problem solving, leadership and interpersonal skills
Good time management, continuous improvement and team skills including the ability to provide leadership and instruction to employees in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to trouble-shoot mechanical and electrical problems
Two-year trade school in heating, ventilation, air conditioning or building maintenance.

Shift: 2ND SHIFT CORE (3rd SHIFT COVERAGES -SWING OPTIONAL)
Hours: 02:00PM-10:00PM CST (Training acclimation may take place between 1st-2nd shift hours)
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Compensation: Grade L10; plus eligible shift differential and overtime.
What You Can Expect:
Responsible for putting safety first with a goal to prevent all injuries, occupational illnesses and safety incidents
Lead daily maintenance activities, which may include updating daily & weekly metrics, providing input on maintenance schedule adjustments, and facilitating daily maintenance work scheduling dialogs with team and management.
Process maintenance requests and prioritize and schedule daily maintenance work orders.
Assist in work coordination with contractors.
Train and develop employees on job skills, problem solving and cross training. Provide recognition to employee contributions.
Coordinate continuous improvement to maintenance processes by identifying, driving, and sustaining improvements.
Work with operations support functions, management and production teams to identify and resolve issues related to safety, quality, process and delivery checks, as well as issues related to equipment, fixture, tool, process, quality, delivery and product/layout changes to ensure daily production schedules are met.
Perform plant maintenance mechanic duties as required.
Provide support for diagnosing and repairing problems with production equipment, building equipment and structures.
May provide input to employee reviews.
Electronically and manually maintain documentation for production.
Take initiative to identify, document, communicate and correct problems, report discrepancies and recommend solutions
Support team People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) initiatives and daily activities.
Work and interact effectively in a team environment in alignment with our Code of Conduct and Values in Action.
