The Residential Window Service Technician at AM is responsible for the service of window field complaints in the Great Lakes region. The Residential Window Service Technician is responsible for managing his/her own schedule with customers, and enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional service, training, and support. The Residential Window Service Technician will work directly with the Regional Sales Manager to make sure customer needs and expectations are met. _DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:_ * Serve customers in the Great Lakes Region of the US with integrity (states of OH, PA, MI, KY, WV, and IN) * Visit regional Window World locations bi-monthly to improve service * Objectively assess and evaluate windows against design and manufacturer specifications. Check window displays to ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and current design and models * Provide window and siding installation seminars and aid in the creation of training materials. Independently perform field inspections as required and train others in the process. * Review window parts kits to ensure that they are complete and current * Review outstanding service issues and visit job sites to resolve service issues * Visit in-progress window jobs and review installation techniques * Provide feedback regarding store owner, operations manager, and installer performance * Complete Service Tech Call Reports and expense reports every week. * Trouble shoot problem jobs for WW locations and give feedback and techniques on how to fix the issue. * Determine if issues are window or installation driven and report findings in a detailed and fact-based manner. Provide feedback to the company regarding customer and installer performance. _QUALIFICATIONS:_ * Minimum of 3 years' experience within building materials * Travel 4 days a week * Basic Computer Skills * Good Communication skills, written and oral * Self-motivated and able to manage own schedule * High School diploma or equivalent * Valid Driver's License All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
