Description
The Leidos Directed Energy Branch has a part-time opening for a Junior Technical Editor in our Albuquerque New Mexico office. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team supporting research and development (R&D) work we do for the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland AFB.
Primary Responsibilities
Assemble, edit, and submit monthly status reports for local (R&D) programs supporting government service laboratories, to include technical updates and financial reporting.
Editing/writing of scientific reports for government R&D programs, and editing/writing of proposals for government contracting opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree with
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. (U.S. Citizenship is required)
In-office support preferred.
Ability and willingness to take direction from senior staff.
Administrative duties from time to time to help office coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
Some familiarity with scientific reports and proposal writing.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00
