Overview
To offer eligible Service Members currently approved to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program the opportunity to gain first-hand experience and insight into Navy Federal's business, technology, resources and procedures by providing support in focused areas, applying knowledge and education. Participate in a collaborative, team driven network and interact with multiple departments. Utilize and further develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques and creative problem solving abilities. Provide professional execution of day to day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide support to assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization
Provides exceptional customer service
May receive guidance and direction from management and / or senior-level staff
Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks / assignments
Collect, prepare and maintain data for analysis, reports, and reference
Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as priority
Works within established standards, change control, policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
Ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results and achieve objectives
Effective attention to detail
Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including skill in negotiating and persuading others
Effective skill following, interpreting and applying guidelines, procedures, practices, regulations
Basic skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Basic skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
Experience which demonstrates a high degree of maturity, objectivity, tact, integrity and sound judgment
Ability to apply sound judgement in analyzing and organizing problems
Effective planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team with a cooperative, positive attitude
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in creating training courses/eLearning
Proficient written communication skills corresponding to writing manuals and instructions
Design experience- Adobe, Microsoft suite, etc.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Pensacola, FL
Salary Range: $22.12 - $31.06 hourly (Potential salary if hired by Navy Federal as a full-time employee: SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Navy Federal, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
