Groot Industries, a Waste Connections company is looking for a safety conscious Cart Washer to join the team in Aurora, IL. This position will perform a variety of duties including the washing and cleaning of carts. The schedule for this position Tuesday-Saturday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with occasional overtime. Wage is $18.00/HR. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and implement a container cleanliness program and see that containers stick to an organized wash schedule.
Sweep floor, put parts away, and perform other custodial functions to maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. Assist in keeping building grounds and wash bay clean and organized. Daily use of power washer.
Perform minor repairs to the equipment and facility.
Perform other related work as required.
Operate fork lift
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma and/or GED.
Proven ability to be a self-started with work with little supervision required.
Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Valid Driver's License
