CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Vault Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
Location: Buffalo, NY-onsite
Duration: Short-term contract, potential for extension or conversion to FT Employee
Pay : $18/hr
Receives mail and pulls and re-files documents and files on Institutional clients; updates tracking system on all associated activity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Check manifests for documents received from Institutional customers to the actual documents; determine if the document is a copy or original. Update tracking system with documents received either manually or by an import.
Pull files/documents requested by other team members and sign them out to each individual for tracking of files; update tracking system with release information on files that have been requested by customers. Send files/documents to the correct customer.
Re-file files and/or documents returned to the vault; update tracking system with return information for re-instatements of any returned files from customers to support system accuracy.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
High School or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year work experience
Proficiency with personal computers
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Good alpha/numeric skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 30 - 50 pounds
Able to climb on a ladder and/or stool and bend for filing
Able to stand for long periods of time
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
