Maintains cargo flow by preparing Customs entries, tracking inbound and outbound shipments, providing shipment and status updates, and preparing documentation for government agencies. Possesses knowledge of U.S. Customs, tariffs, classification codes, and export commodity control numbers. Issues billing invoices and follows up with receivables. Role could be performed by an employee with a minimum of an associates degree and at least four years of relevant experience.
Job Summary
To provides sales order and product inquiry service and/or information to our distributor/dealer sales network, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) accounts, Catalog Supply Houses, or end user network. The Customer Sales/Service Coordinator is the primary contact and is responsible for complete customer follow-up and general order administration.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Qualifications
*Knowledge: * Basic telephone and computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access and AS400.
*Skills: * Proficient in general office support skills of word processing, 10 key calculator, telemarketing, record keeping, filing, data base management, complaint handling, public relations, strong problem solving skills and strong time management skills.
Abilities: Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Quality and customer oriented. Ability to maintain pleasant internal and external relationships. Proven ability to make independently based, qualitative decisions and decisions relating to negotiating true customer delivery dates, deterring methods of shipment, discount structures and how to resolve customer complaints.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional post-secondary school in Selling or Sales Operations is helpful but not mandatory.
