This position will report to the Director of Partner GTM Acceleration. This growth role will be responsible for managing the partner incentive and investment operation team for VMware, to identify and execute on opportunities for development of operation excellences as well as facilitate program readiness in collaboration with worldwide Partner teams, worldwide business team and vendor teams. Cross-group collaboration, clear communications, and the ability to lead a team will be required to deliver business results. This role requires excellent execution excellence skills.
Responsibilities as a key member of Partner Acceleration team, you will be responsible for:
Operationalize channel partner incentive and investment programs or initiatives VMware needs to implement to achieve our SaaS/Sub transformation
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the planning and execution of program launches and ongoing operations of programs are running as expected.
Prioritizing and executing programs with internal support from key stakeholders and ensuring that business development goals are supported through appropriate availability of Incentive and Investment programs
Concise and clear reporting and communicating of activities generating business impact.
Collect and manage feedback from channel partners and GEO teams on the programs and effectively implement a roadmap of changes to support our objectives.
Establish key results to measure the success of channel programs.
Maintain adaptability in approach with a fast growing and evolving business, prioritizing according to leadership strategy and focus.
Developing program rules and guidelines in coordination with Channel Program Team, Sales Leaders, Legal and Operations Team.
Support partner/sales in deal development and creation in order to meet business demands while maximizing profitability and maintaining program integrity.
Manage and execute projects focused on removing barriers and increasing ease of doing business to maximize revenue and efficiency.
Partnering with cross functional teams (legal, finance, worldwide partner teams, operations) to execute compliance activities for all layers of the channel.
Actively participating in roadmap identification and prioritization with Business, IT and vendors
Developing and executing initiatives designed to optimize team efficiency, insights, and productivity
Qualifications & Experience:
10 years professional working experience in an operational environment with experience executing on the design and build of large programs
Experience building meaningful relationships with all levels of employees, from Executive level to employee base
Demonstrated success managing remote/global teams
Strong leadership and communication skills, organized and able to multitask
Ideal candidate has prior experience in channel, especially channel incentive programs
Prior Channel experience preferred
Experience with Salesforce.com, e2Open, Workspan is a plus
Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making

Process oriented with sound judgment; attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
Proven leadership skills, business acumen, and performance driven
Exceptional determination, tenacity, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance or other relevant field required
