Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Construction Manager for a Federal Client in the DC Metro Area to provide onsite construction management services The role involves performing full-time, on-site CMS services, which includes continuous surveillance throughout the construction process.
The CM will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Act as the lead for managing the oversight of construction projects
Will cooperate in the development of implementation strategies and planning, review of master construction schedules and monitoring setting up and implementing safety procedures and policies by contractors
On-site Construction Management for sites
Accountability for developing, managing, and reporting on safety, scope, schedule, and budget
Manages and advocates for safe worksites by adhering to organizational and industry procedures
Shares lessons learned with relevant stakeholders
Regular internal reporting of project status and costs to meet KPI's and budget requirements
Serve as project single point of contact for construction and communicates delivery status and progress
Coordinate meetings and activities for contractors, vendors, cost managers, and integration of lessons learned
Support of Federal client, regulatory agencies, stakeholders and community engagement activities and negotiations for new Task Orders.
In order to be successful, you must have a strong background in project and construction management, be capable to work in a dynamic and global organization, and have a strong desire to continually learn and innovate
Proven working experience in construction management
Have a strong background in project management and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes
Having expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards, applicable to the project
Have general knowledge and experience with a broad variety of construction means and methods
Possess the ability to monitor construction activities across various design disciplines that include civil, architecture, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, building technology engineering, and systems
Be fluent in business English
Work well within a fast-paced organization who is a self-starter, process-minded, and collaborative
Understanding of design specs and drawings

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00.
