The IngenioRx Specialty team is looking for a Director Clinical Pharmacy Strategies who will be responsible for ideation, development, management and oversight of utilization management (UM) initiatives for specialty drugs. This individual will collaborate with a team of cross functional leaders to drive solutions that align with business unit and organizational goals .
How you will make an impact:
Ownership of clinical UM program such as Prior Authorization, Step Therapy, Dose Management, Channel management to drive superior clinical outcomes for members while managing costs.
Establishes and executes clinical interventions and cost of care programs.
Leads the creation of solutions to promote business growth and client retention.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics and operational elements of Specialty drug management, Establish strong relationships to affect change withing a highly-matrixed organization.
Manage budget and support cost management targets. Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a PharmD, RPh or MPh
Minimum of 5 years of managed care experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Current pharmacist license required.
Requires BS in Pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Medical Specialty drug management.
Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
Client, Sales, and Account Management experience.
Ability to work effectively across teams.
Previous Management/Leadership experience.
