FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST- Full time with benefits. Position available providing support to assist parents and caregivers of children up to the age of 25 with serious emotional disorders. Activities are directed and authorized by the childs treatment plan. The Family Support Provider partners with the Community Support Specialist to support the family as they work to reach their identified goals. He/She provides services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance abuse and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. Must have a family member with a child who has been or currently has a behavioral or emotional disorder. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work with mental health provider of care and all community providers in a manner as to promote acceptance of and cooperation between self, clients, and providers of care and in the community.
