As an Associate Program Analyst, you will be a part of the team managing the delivery of new amphibious ships and landing craft to the fleet. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain, transfer and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.
Our Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation, which is part of Serco's Maritime Engineering, Technology and Sustainment (METS) business, provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy surface ships and craft, supporting new construction, repair, maintenance, modernization, and sustainment. You will work closely with Government, maritime industry professionals, and other support personnel. Our objective: to ensure our clients' mission objectives are achieved with the highest level of capability and assurance, and at the lowest possible cost.
Under immediate supervision of a Project or Program Manager, assists program/project management staff in the tracking and administration of contractual commitments of limited complexity. May track key project tasks, monitor project deliverables and timelines, organize project related meetings and develop reports and other deliverables as assigne. Potential additional tasking includes management of quarterly newsletter to include solicitation of inputs, editorial review, and coordination with graphics support (75%). Additionally, support a Vice President in the management of calendar/meetings, travel, etc. (25%).
In this role:
You will assist in the preparation of management plans and reports.
Coordinating schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order review, briefings/presentations, and IPR preparation.
Assist in the analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures.
Develope, draft, writing, and editing reports, briefs, speeches, proposals, and other documents of limited complexity in support of a client's requirements.
Interfacing with personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records and files, provides end user support, and performs general administrative duties.
Assisting in budgetary, billing, and financial management.
Processing and completing general purchase orders; determines prices from available vendors, which meet cost and quality guidelines; places orders; verifies receipt of purchase.
Coordinating with accounts payable to resolve any credit holds or complex pricing problems in order to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays to end user; coordinates with receiving departments to resolve receipt problems promptly so as to not cause any delay to end users.
Coordinating the procurement of materials, products/services and equipment necessary for the operation of the project or program.
Reviewing bids for specification compliance, prices, delivery commitments and past performance; utilizes online systems as a resource for procurement.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $62,037.42 to $93,056.69; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus 0 to 2 years directly related experience working in support of a Program Manager on a government contract. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more comparable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.
Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.
Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills is required.
Strong customer service orientation is reqired.
Strong computer skills, MS Office Suite is required.
Effective organizational skills required.
