ITW Food Equipment Group, an Illinois Tool Works Fortune 200 business is a recognized leader among commercial food equipment worldwide. The function of this position is to provide various manual services for the Troy, Ohio facilities by planning, organizing, and executing routine processes, special projects, events, and other requests.
Responsibilities
Basic Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction and tear down of office furniture, partitions and cubicles.
Including but not limited to office moves, cubicle builds/tear downs, disposing of waste from e-waste containers, loading scrap/trash trucks, and minor construction projects [i.e. hanging whiteboards, pictures, shelving, etc].
Review all Customer Work Requests, several times a day. Interface with the customer to ensure that the scope of work is clearly understood. Prioritize and schedule the work. Follow up with the Customer when the work is complete to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks using forklift. Delivery of larger mail items to the appropriate Personnel/Employee.
Prepare show equipment [take off skid, put on casters, pad, and shrink wrap] for shipment to show & unload and prepare show equipment upon return from Trade Show for storage or shipment to other sources.
In charge of event set ups for luncheons and parties of up to 100 people.
In charge of interior holiday decorating.
Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
Accountable for workplace organization within areas of responsibility.
Responsible for the efficient and timely execution of common processes.
Troubleshoot Facility Related Equipment Issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School
1 year of construction and/or maintenance or relevant experience preferred
Valid Driver's License
Forklift experience
Ability and knowledge of driving a box truck
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
