We are looking for a safety conscience Shred Truck Driver to join the team at our Mobile Shredding location in Lacey, WA. Previous shred experience would be a huge plus! Wages starting at up to $28.00/HR dependent on experience and qualifications.
$3000 Stay-On Bonus Offered
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform on-site document destruction of confidential material using mobile-based shredding equipment.
Preparing paperwork neatly and accurately in accordance with all Company, Local, State, NAID, and Federal Policies.
Perform the pick-up of customer material in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.
Using wireless scanning technology and communication devices for service and communication purposes.
A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed and some overnights, 45 hour work week.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 75 pounds.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
Continuously going into businesses and interacting with clients.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Possess a valid Washington Class B CDL.
Be able to pass a WA DOT medical certification upon hire.
Have clean driving record.
Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.
Be able to pass a 7 year criminal history background check.
1+ years of face to face customer service as well as route transportation is preferred.
