Job Description:
This position serves as an IT Architect within the Enterprise PLM (EPLM) division of RI/IT.
In this role, the candidate will work directly with Enterprise PLM technical resources, business process partners, and vendor partners to ensure the application components align with the application architecture and provide technical governance for the operationalization of business imperatives.
As a Teamcenter architect, the selected candidate will work with other EPLM architects to select the operating alternatives that form the overall operating strategy and business architecture. Identifying cross-capability and cross-release issues that affect the business architecture integrity will also be part of the core competency required for this position. This role requires enhanced leadership to review, evaluate, and approve 3rd party vendor solution designs to ensure they are aligned to EPLM tactical and strategic drivers.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge, intellectual curiosity, a drive to solve complex problems, strong working knowledge of integration or Teamcenter-centric technology, a high degree of initiative and the willingness to consistently produce and deliver high quality deliverables. Candidate must have excellent communication skills in both the verbal and written dimensions.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience
6-10 years of progressive IT experience (application development and/or application support)
6+ Years' experience with .Net Web applications, Snowflake, Python
5-8 Years Interface/integration development/support experience
5+ Years Software design and engineering experience
Prior experience working with 3rd party vendors
Effective collaboration with infrastructure providers (NAS/Storage/DB/etc..) for appropriate EPLM sizing and scalability parameters
High degree of problem-solving ability coupled with solid communication skills
Strong customer focus
Desired Skills/Experience
Experience of programming in C++.
Experience or knowledge of using Adobe Flash Builder, MVC framework, SQL scripting
Familiar with Teamcenter
