Applied Materials' Process Integration Engineering department is searching for an intern to join our team in Spring 2024! Process Integration team works closely with process development teams, equipment engineers, and operation team to develop integrated Test vehicles to test solutions for our customer's High value Problems (HVP). The position will entail the following:
Assist with handling and processing wafers in a development Fab environment to support various projects with defined guidelines.
Lead small development projects involving wafer metrology.
Support process engineering team for logistic, shipping, and inventory functions
Requirements
Student must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree program in Material Science, or a related field.
Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Knowledge/Study in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred
Wafer handling /Semiconductor Fab experience in a development or manufacturing environment preferred.

Compensation
$28 - 36 per hour
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
