The DARPA Advanced Technology Engineer will be part of a dynamic team supporting major systems acquisition, research and engineering on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) at the Pentagon and Mark Center offices in nearby Arlington (Crystal City), Virginia (Hybrid Schedule) . This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your DoD Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
SERCO supports the OSD and their mission for the MDJO organization, which is to identify and transition technologies that close time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component warfighting missions.You will be part of a team responsible for highly consequential engagements with stakeholders impacting national security and the defense capabilities of the United States.
You will support the senior-executive Director for Multi-Domain Joint Operations (MDJO) in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). You will work closely with customers and other Serco teams to deliver quality solutions, recognized by DoD and industry as outstanding contributions in engineering program and risk management across the Defense enterprise.Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make a positive impact on the security of our nation!

In this role, you will:
Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders and leverage available tools, processes, and forums to proactively facilitate transition for select capabilities from advanced DARPA programs
Support execution of a Transition Working Group to develop and execute a transition architecture and implementation plans for vanguard technical capabilities
Support execution of advanced modeling and simulation capabilities critical to the transition of advanced warfighting architectures for operational use and the development of key capabilities needed to realize those advanced designs
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you will have:
A U.S. citizenship
An active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) (TS/SCI)
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
10 years of relevant work experience
Experience planning and executing complex engineering and systems analysis efforts for the DoD and/or IC
To be an expert in assessing threat kill chains operations and identifying exploitable vulnerabilities, analyzing mission threads and blue force system kill chains, developing system models, constructing and executing simulation and analysis plans, and conducting trade studies and sensitivity analysis
The ability to develop high-quality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture key issues for DoD decision-makers
The ability to travel 10%
