L3Harris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Engineer to join our logistics team in supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the Counter-Communication System (CCS) program, and the Combat Mission Systems Support (CMSS) contract. Logistics support is for both the sustainment of fielded systems and the development of new system architecture.
Essential Functions:
The Logistics Specialist duties include but are not limited to:
Provides supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting.
Exercise logistics support utilizing standard practices and processes.
Influence the system design process by developing and providing a support infrastructure, conducting Product Support Analysis (PSA) through the application of scientific and engineering efforts during the acquisition and design processes.
Analyze level of repair, maintenance tasks, Logistics Product Data (LPD), provisioning data, and Reliability/Availability/Maintainability/Testability (RAM-T) requirements.
Define and develop logistics/product support requirements, support plans, maintenance concepts/plans; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) plans; and sparing plans.
Analyze technical data and reports to determine/formulate specific recommendations regarding spare/repair parts, test equipment, and support equipment.
Review, analyze and provide inputs to technical drawing documentation, technical orders, and training.
Formulate processes for support and sustainment engineering analysis, life cycle cost/management estimation, maintenance/depot services, warranty/spares administration, and help desk services.
Receive, track, document, status and store parts in all phases of the component repair cycle.
Qualifications:
Active SECRET security clearance, ability to obtain a further security clearance (TS/SCI).
Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Operations, Maintenance, or Logistics experience with fixed site or deployable space operations systems.
Experience/familiarity with CMSS program mission area (as an operator/maintainer or as a contractor).
Experience developing and maintaining Logistics Management Information using GEIA-STD-0007, Logistics Product Data as guidance.
Experience developing maintenance and operations procedures, conducting certification, and supporting verification processes for Technical Manuals in accordance with Technical Orders 00-5-1 and 00-5-3. Develops procedures for AFTO Form 22, TCTO, IOS/ISS processes.
Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation and training material. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes and product development.
Familiar with DoD and commercial logistics tools and databases: FedLog, WebFLIS, D043, EAGLE as well as various LMI Programs. Extensive knowledge of LMI/LSA data products.
Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $53,000 - $98,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
