Waste Connections, Inc. is currently looking for a Broker Representative for our Charlotte, NC market area.
Job Duties:
Be able to communicate effectively over email and phone with customers.
Respond to customer inquiries- via phone and email to resolve customer issues.
Liaise with internal teams to determine service requirements, resolve issues, or complaints.
Sufficient understanding of RMO and ARES.
Coordinate the setup and installation of new accounts.
Creates and closes out work orders in RMO.
Analyze account activity and suggest opportunities for service improvements to the customer.
Maintain appropriate documentation, per company policy and internal controls.
Reconcile customer balances and perform customer audits.
Understand customers' aging balances and our local Collections policy.
Reach out to Top 10 Broker Accounts with past due balances weekly.
Reach out to Broker Accounts with any past due balances', minimum once per month.
Understand broker contract language such as, price increases, terms and conditions, service increases/decreases.

Qualifications:
Strong Excel, communication & analytical skills
Solid Waste industry experience a plus, not required
Bachelor's degree preferred
