The Healthcare Business Process Analyst will be part of a dynamic team supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, VA. SERCO supports the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and is looking for analytical and project management support. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer to deliver effective management plans, authoritative analysis, and -speed to decision- for very senior leaders. This is a new opportunity, so you will not be picking up someone else's work, but you will be integrating into an established team supporting BUMED.
In the Healthcare Business Process Analyst role, you will:
Provide Project management for the BUMED Operations, Plans and Readiness Division (BUMED M34) in personnel readiness assessment, policy development, and process improvement
Provide application of process improvement analytics to include; readiness reporting, data mining, and data visualization. Candidates can expect to evaluate and measure progress in developing new policies for improving medical readiness and medical readiness reporting of Navy personnel
Provide consulting and project management support as Subject Matter Expert in business process improvement and change management principles for Navy Medicine Project Leaders

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active DoD Secret Clearance
A Bachelor's Degree in the medical field and/or related field
5-7 years of relevant experience
Familiarity with process improvement projects
Working knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps personnel management policy, databases, and systems
Familiarity with project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring & controlling, and project closure
Experience with MS Office 365 suite of applications
Desired qualifications include:
BUMED, Navy Medicine Enterprise, Defense Health Agency, or other federal healthcare experience
Navy and/or Marine Corps staff experience
Experience with analytic software, including systems such as Tableau (Desktop, Reader, Server), Anaconda, Putty, Notepad ++, Git, Win SCP, SAS EG, MS SQL Server, and SQL Server)
Experience with the Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement processes
Familiarity with personnel databases/systems such as LIMDU SMART, MRRS, Webwave, Family Readiness
Experience with Max.gov and SharePoint
Knowledge with electronic health records
Familiarity in handling PHI and PII data
Experience with MS Teams
