Job Summary: Assist Maintenance Technicians in repairing, installing, and maintaining equipment, building and grounds. Perform such tasks as directed by Team Lead, Manager or other authorized person, including, but not limited to, painting, cleaning, grass cutting, snow removal, yard work, having company vehicles maintained or repaired, performing errands, etc. Proceed on work assignments with a minimum of close supervision and direction to perform quality work.
Job Duties:
Perform supervised work on facilities, equipment, systems, and machines, replacing defective parts.
May remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
Paints machines, equipment, or physical structures.
Patches or replaces plaster or plasterboard and paints walls, ceilings, and floors.
Assist Maintenance Technicians with maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, rebuilding, etc.
Perform regular inspections and maintain records for fire prevention and extinguishing equipment, lifting equipment, etc.
Using Maintenance vehicle, pick up and deliver materials, supplies and equipment.
Perform janitorial duties
May be assigned to other departments
Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
Prepare conference or training rooms for meetings as required.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Recognize operating irregularities, safety hazards and notify proper personnel to correct
Works safely at ALL times and complies with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.
Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager other authorized person.
Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems. Must also maintain good working relationship with others within the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical methods and procedures is essential
Must be able to demonstrate good troubleshooting and repair skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, have good communications skills and must be willing to do a variety of different jobs
Team attitude is essential
Additional Information:
Weekend Shift is Friday - Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm
Starting pay is $21.11/hr + $1.00 premium
